Hadith #40129
قال: كانت قدما النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم تنتفخان في الصلاة بالليل. فقيل له لماذا تتألم كثيراً؟ ولكن غفرت لك كل ذنوبك السابقة واللاحقة؟ فقال (صلى الله عليه وسلم): «أفلا أكون عبدًا شكورًا؟» (البخاري ومسلم)[1]
He said, the feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to swell while performing Salat (prayer/prayer/prayer) at night. He was told, why are you suffering so much? But all your previous and subsequent sins have been forgiven? (Hearing this) he (peace be upon him (peace be upon him) said, "Shall I not be a grateful servant?" (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]
