Hadith #40519
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه أن رجلا أصاب من امرأة قُبلةً، فأتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأخبره فأنزل الله تعالى‏:‏ ‏{‏أقم الصلاة طرفي النهار وزلفًا من الليل، إن الحسنات يذهبن السيئات‏}‏ فقال الرجل‏:‏ ألي هذا‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏لجميع أمتي كلهم‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, that a man received a kiss from a woman, so he came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and told him. So God Almighty revealed: “Establish prayer at both ends of the day and at the end of the night. Indeed, good deeds remove bad deeds.” So the man said: What is this for? He said: “For all my entire nation” (Agreed upon).
