Hadith #40522
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
"يتعاقبون فيكم ملائكة بالليل، وملائكة بالنهار، ويجتمعون في صلاة الصبح وصلاة العصر، ثم يعرج الذين باتوا فيكم، فيسألهم الله -وهو أعلم بهم-: كيف تركتم عبادي؟ فيقولون تركناهم وهم يصلون، وأتيناهم وهم يصلون" ((متفق عليه)).
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Angels will succeed one another among you at night, and angels during the day, and they will gather for the morning prayer and the afternoon prayer, then those who spent the night among you will ascend, and God - and He knows best about them - will ask them: How did you leave My servants? They say: We left them while they were praying, and we came to them while they were praying” (Agreed upon).
