Hadith #40672
وعنها رضي الله عنها عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏من مات وعليه صوم، صام عنه وليه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of her, may God be pleased with her, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “Whoever dies and is required to fast, his guardian will fast on his behalf” (Agreed upon).
