Hadith #44830
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ جَدِّهِ الشَّكُّ مِنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ بَعْدَ الْحَدَثِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَصَلَّى.
Ali bin Asim told us, Yazid bin Abi Ziyad told us, on the authority of Asim bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of his father, or his grandfather, there is no doubt who is older than Omar, May God be pleased with him. He said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performing ablution after the event, wiping over his socks, and praying.
