Hadith #44844
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ تُصِيبُنِي الْجَنَابَةُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَمَا أَصْنَعُ قَالَ اغْسِلْ ذَكَرَكَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأْ ثُمَّ ارْقُدْ.
Muhammad ibn Ja`far narrated to us, Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Dinar, he said: I heard Ibn Umar saying, `Umar, may God be pleased with him, asked the Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Janaabah has befallen me at night, so what should I do?” He said: “Wash your penis, then perform ablution, then lie down.”
