حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ حُمْرَانَ بْنَ أَبَانَ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَقَاعِدِ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي هَذَا الْمَجْلِسِ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ مِثْلَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَكَعَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا تَغْتَرُّوا.
Hassan bin Musa told us, Shayban told us, on the authority of Yahya, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Harith Al-Taymi, he said, Muadh bin Abd told me The Most Gracious, that Hamran bin Aban told him, saying, “I came to Uthman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, while he was sitting in the seats, so he performed ablution.” So he performed ablution well, then he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was in this gathering. He performed ablution, so he performed ablution well, then he said Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine, then comes to the mosque and kneels two rak’ahs in it, his previous sins will be forgiven. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: May God bless him and grant him peace, and do not be deceived.
