حَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ خَلَفُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَبَقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَلَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَثَلَّثَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ خَبَطَتْنَا أَوْ أَصَابَتْنَا فِتْنَةٌ يَعْفُو اللَّهُ عَمَّنْ يَشَاءُ.
Shujaa bin Al-Walid told us, he said, Khalaf bin Hawshab mentioned, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abd Khair, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said previously The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr and a third of Omar, may God be pleased with him, prayed. Then we were struck or a trial struck us. May God forgive those who He wills...
