حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَعَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْوَرْدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ لَا أُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ صَالِحِي قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ وَزَادَ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَرْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ نِعْمَ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأُمُّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ.
Abd al-Rahman told us, Nafi’ ibn Umar and Abd al-Jabbar ibn al-Ward told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaykah, he said: Talha ibn Ubayd Allah said, No. I narrated nothing on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, except that I heard him say that Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with him Among the righteous of Quraysh, he said, and Abdul-Jabbar bin Ward added, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, on the authority of Talha. He said, “The best people of the House are Abdullah and Abu Abdullah and Umm Abdullah.
