Hadith #46027
وعن أبى الأسقع واثلة بن الأسقع رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ "‏إن من أعظم الفرى أن يدعى الرجل إلى غير أبيه، أو يرى عينيه ما لم تر، أو يقول على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما لم يقل‏"‏ ‏((رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيُّ)).
On the authority of Abu Al-Asqa’ and Athila bin Al-Asqa’, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “One of the greatest lies is for a man to be called to someone other than his father, or to see with his eyes what they did not see, or to say about the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what he did not say” ((Narrated by Al-Bukhari)).
