Hadith #46507
وعن أبي خراش حدرد بن أبي حدرد الأسلمي، ويقال السلمي الصحابي رضي الله عنه أنه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏ "‏من هجر أخاه سنة فهو كسفك دمه‏"‏‏.‏‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Kharash Hadrad bin Abi Hadard Al-Aslami, and it is said that Al-Sulami the Companion, may God be pleased with him, said that he heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “Whoever abandons his brother for a year will shed his blood.” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission)).
