Hadith #46506
وعن أبي أيوب رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏لا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث ليال‏:‏ يلتقيان، فيعرض هذا ويعرض هذا، وخيرهما الذي يبدأ بالسلام‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Ayyub, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “It is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three nights: they meet, and this one turns away and the other turns away, and the best of them is the one who begins with greetings” ((Agreed upon)).
