Hadith #46548
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏‏ "‏ليس منا من ضرب الخدود، وشق الجيوب، ودعا بدعوى الجاهليه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He who beats the cheeks, rips the pockets, and calls upon the pre-Islamic era is not one of us” (Agreed upon).
