Hadith #46547
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏‏"‏الميت يُعذب في قبره بما نِيح عليه ‏"‏‏. وَفِي روايةٍ:"مَا نِيحَ علَيْهِ"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The dead person is tortured in his grave for what he wailed over.” And in a narration: “He did not wail over him” (Agreed upon).
