Hadith #46665
وعن أبي زيد عمرو بن أخطب الأنصاري رضي الله عنه قال: صلى بنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الفجر، وصعد المنبر، فخطبنا حتى حضرت الظهر، فنزل فصلى، ثم صعد المنبر حتى حضرت العصر، ثم نزل فصلى، ثم صعد المنبر حتى غربت الشمس، فأخبرنا ما كان هو كائن، فأعلمنا أحفظنا. ((رواه مسلم)).
On the authority of Abu Zaid Amr bin Akhtab Al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, led the dawn prayer with us, and ascended the pulpit, so we preached until noon arrived, so he descended and prayed, then ascended the pulpit until afternoon prayer, then he descended and prayed, then ascended the pulpit until the sun set, so he informed us of what was going to happen, so let us know the best of us. ((Narrated by Muslim)).
