Hadith #46727
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ أَنْ نَخْتِمَ عَلَى الْخَادِمِ، وَنَكِيلَ، وَنَعُدَّهَا، كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يَتَعَوَّدُوا خُلُقَ سُوءٍ، أَوْ يَظُنَّ أَحَدُنَا ظَنَّ سُوءٍ.
Bishr bin Muhammad told us, he said: Abdullah told us, he said: Abu Khalda told us, on the authority of Abu Al-Aaliyah, he said: We were commanded to We speak ill of the servant, we speak ill of us, and we make promises, fearing that they might become accustomed to evil deeds, or that they might have bad thoughts about one of us.
