حَدَّثَنَا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَزَلَ مَنْزِلاً فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ بَيْضَ حُمَّرَةٍ، فَجَاءَتْ تَرِفُّ عَلَى رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ: أَيُّكُمْ فَجَعَ هَذِهِ بِبَيْضَتِهَا؟ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنَا أَخَذْتُ بَيْضَتَهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: ارْدُدْ، رَحْمَةً لَهَا.
Talaq bin Ghannam narrated to us, he said: Al-Masoudi narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Hasan bin Saad, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah, on the authority of Abdullah, that the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He went down a certain place, and a man picked up a reddish-white hair, which appeared on the head of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: Which of you? So this woman lost her egg? Then a man said: O Messenger of God, I took her egg. Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Send it back, out of mercy for her.
