Hadith #46893
حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ بِمَكَّةَ وَأَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْمِلُونَ الطَّيْرَ فِي الأَقْفَاصِ‏.‏
Arim told us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr was in Mecca and the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. They carry the birds in cages
