حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا، وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا عَرَفْنَاهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ‏.‏
Amr bin Marzuq told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Qatada, he said: I heard Abdullah bin Abi Utbah speaking, on the authority of Abu Sa’id. Al-Khudri said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was more shy than a virgin in her private parts, and if he disliked something we would recognize it by his face.
