حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَشِهَابٌ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِمُحَمَّدٍ وَحْدَنَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: لَقَدْ حَجَبْتَهَا عَنْ نَاسٍ كَثِيرٍ.
Musa bin Ismail and Shihab narrated to us, saying: Hammad narrated to us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, who said: A man said: O God, forgive me and Muhammad alone, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: You have withheld it from many people.
