حَدَّثَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: يُسَلِّمُ الرَّاكِبُ عَلَى الْمَاشِي، وَالْمَاشِي عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ، وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ.
Nu`aym bin Hammad told us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak told us, he said: Muammar told us, on the authority of Hammam, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: The rider greets the walking one, the walking one greets the sitting one, and the small one greets the many.
