Hadith #47537
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ، فَكُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ حَيَّاهُ بِتَحِيَّةِ الإِسْلاَمِ، فَقَالَ: وَعَلَيْكَ، وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ، مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قُلْتُ: مِنْ غِفَارٍ.
Abdullah bin Maslamah told us, he said: Sulayman bin Al-Mughirah told us, on the authority of Humaid bin Hilal, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Samit, on the authority of Abu Dharr He said: I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, when he finished his prayer, and I was the first to greet him with the Islamic greeting. He said: And on you, By God’s mercy, who are you from? I said: From Ghaffar.
