Hadith #47582
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَصِرِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ‏:‏ إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ تُقْرَعُ بِالأظَافِيرِ‏.‏
Malik bin Ismail told us, he said: Al-Muttalib bin Ziyad told us, he said: Abu Bakr bin Abdullah Al-Asbahani told us, on the authority of Muhammad Ibn Malik Ibn Al-Muntasir, on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik: The doors of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, were knocked on with nails.
