Hadith #47587
Abdullah bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Yahya bin Adam narrated to me, on the authority of Al-Hasan bin Salih, on the authority of Salamah bin Kuhayl, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, said: Omar asked permission to come to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Peace be upon the Messenger of God, peace be upon you. Shall he enter? Omar?
