حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ‏:‏ كُنْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ، فَقِيلَ‏:‏ ادْخُلْ بِسَلاَمٍ، فَأَبَى أَنْ يَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهِمْ‏.‏
Malik ibn Ismail narrated to us, he said: Israel narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ja`far al-Farra, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Jud’an, he said: I was with Abdullah bin Omar, so he asked permission to visit the family, and it was said: Enter in peace, but he refused to enter them.
