Hadith #47101
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى أَنَسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا، وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا عَرَفْنَاهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ‏.‏
Ali ibn al-Ja`d narrated to us, he said: Shu`bah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Ubaid Allah, Anas’s client, who said: I heard Abu Saeed said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was more shy than a virgin in her private room, and if he disliked something we would recognize it by his face.
