حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ التُّجِيبِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: مَنْ مَلَأَ عَيْنَيْهِ مِنْ قَاعَةِ بَيْتٍ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَهُ، فَقَدْ فَسَقَ.
Abdullah bin Yazid told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Dinar, on the authority of Ammar bin Sa’d al-Tajibi, who said: Omar bin said Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him: Whoever fills his eyes from the hall of a house, before permission is given to him, has committed sin.
