حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلاَثَةً فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ، فَإِنَّهُ يُحْزِنُهُ ذَلِكَ‏.‏
Omar bin Hafs told us, he said: My father told me, he said: Al-Amash told us, he said: A brother told me, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: If there are three of you, two should not talk to each other without the third, for that makes him sad.
