حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ إِذَا جَلَسَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَخْلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ، فَيَضَعُهُمَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ‏.‏
Qutaibah told us, he said: Safwan bin Issa told us, he said: Abdullah bin Harun told us, on the authority of Ziyad bin Saad, on the authority of Ibn Nahik, On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: It is Sunnah when a man sits to take off his shoes and place them on his side.
