Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #48195

On the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: “Whoever says before he departs and bends his feet from prayer Maghrib and morning. There is no god but God alone. He has no partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him is praise. In His hand is goodness. He gives life and causes death, and He is over Everything is powerful ten times over. For every single thing, ten good deeds are recorded for him, ten bad deeds are erased from him, and ten degrees are raised for him and it is a score. From every abomination and protection from the accursed Satan, and it was not permissible for him to commit any sin except polytheism, and he was among the best of people in deeds, except for a man who preferred it. He says better than what he said.” It was narrated by Ahmad, and Al-Tirmidhi narrated something similar on the authority of Abu Dharr, until he said: “Except polytheism,” and he did not mention: “The Maghrib prayer, and in His hand is no good,” and he said: This is a good, true, and strange hadith
