وَعَن عَائِشَة قَالَتْ: لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَ بِلَال يوذنه لصَلَاة فَقَالَ: «مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِالنَّاسِ» فَصَلَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ تِلْكَ الْأَيَّامَ ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجَدَ فِي نَفْسِهِ خِفَّةً فَقَامَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ وَرِجْلَاهُ يخطان فِي الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ أَبُو بكر حسه ذهب أخر فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَن لَا يتَأَخَّر فجَاء حَتَّى يجلس عَن يسَار أبي بكر فَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي قَائِمًا وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا يَقْتَدِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالنَّاسُ مقتدون بِصَلَاة أبي بكر
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لَهُمَا: يُسْمِعُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّاسَ التَّكْبِير
On the authority of Aisha, she said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, became heavy, Bilal came to call him to prayer and said: “Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer,” so he prayed. Abu Bakr in those days. Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, found lightness in himself, so he stood up and was guided between two men. And his feet were treading the ground until he entered the mosque. When Abu Bakr heard his feeling, he went again, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, motioned to him not to delay, so he came. Until he sits to the left of Abu Bakr, and Abu Bakr used to pray standing, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray sitting. Abu Bakr imitates the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the people imitate the prayer of Abu Bakr. In one of their narrations: Abu Bakr makes the people listen to the takbeer
