وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: لَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَتْلُ ابْنِ حَارِثَةَ وَجَعْفَرٍ وَابْنِ رَوَاحَةَ جَلَسَ يُعْرَفُ فِيهِ الْحُزْنُ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ مِنْ صَائِرِ الْبَابِ تَعْنِي شَقَّ الْبَابِ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ نِسَاءَ جَعْفَرٍ وَذَكَرَ بُكَاءَهُنَّ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْهَاهُنَّ فَذَهَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ الثَّانِيَةَ لَمْ يُطِعْنَهُ فَقَالَ: انْهَهُنَّ فَأَتَاهُ الثَّالِثَةَ قَالَ: وَاللَّهِ غَلَبْنَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَزَعَمْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «فَاحْثُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ» . فَقُلْتُ: أَرْغَمَ اللَّهُ أَنْفَكَ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ مَا أَمَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ العناء
On the authority of Aisha, she said: When the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to kill Ibn Haritha, Ja’far, and Ibn Rawaha, he sat there feeling sad while I Look at the way of the door, meaning the opening of the door. Then a man came to him and said: Ja`far’s wives. He mentioned their crying, so he ordered him to stop them. So he went, then he brought him the second, but he did not obey him, so he said: He forbade them, so he brought him the third and said: By God, we have defeated us, O Messenger of God, so I claimed that he said: “Then put dust in their mouths.” So I said: May God force you to do what the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded you to do. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was spared from trouble.
