Hadith #49197
On the authority of Shaddad bin Aws: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to a man in Al-Baqi’ and he was cupping while holding my hand for eighteen days. Ramadan had passed, and he said: “The cupper and the one being treated have broken their fast.” Narrated by Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, and Al-Darimi. Sheikh Imam Muhyi said The Sunnah, may God have mercy on him: Some of those who granted cupping a concession interpreted it as meaning that he was exposed to breaking the fast: the cupped person is weak, and the cupper is because he does not He is safe from anything getting into his stomach by sucking the lieutenant.
