Hadith #50056
On the authority of Abu Saeed, he said: A man was injured during the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding fruits that he bought, and his debt increased, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Give alms.” So the people gave alms to him, but that did not amount to the fulfillment of his debt. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: To his creditors, “Take what you find and you will have nothing but that.” Narrated by Muslim
