On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, made an agreement on the Day of Hudaybiyyah on three things: That whoever came to him from among the polytheists Return it to them, and whoever of the Muslims came to them, they did not return it, and he must enter it from the beginning and stay there for three days. When he entered it and the time had passed, he went out, and Hamzah’s daughter followed him, calling: O uncle, ya uncle. So Ali handed it to her, took her by the hand, and Ali disputed over it. And Zaid and Jafar. Ali said: I took her and she is my cousin. Ja'far said: My cousin's daughter, and her paternal aunt is below me, and Zaid said: My brother's daughter. So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, decided that she should be given to her maternal aunt and said: “The maternal aunt is in the same position as the mother.” He said to Ali: “You are from me and I am from you,” and he said to Jafar: “You resemble me and his character.” He said to Zaid: “You are our brother and our master.”
