Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51931

On the authority of Hudhayfah and Abu Hurairah, they said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God, Blessed and Most High, will gather the people, and the believers will stand until the For them is Paradise, so they will go to Adam and say: O our father, open Paradise for us. He will say: Did he expel you from Paradise? It is the sin of your father and I am not the owner of that. Go to my son Abraham, the friend of God.” He said: “Then Abraham will say: I am not the owner of that. I was a friend from back to back. They went to Moses, to whom God spoke a word. Then they would come to Moses, peace be upon him, and he would say: I am not the companion of that. Go to Jesus, the Word of God and His Spirit, and Jesus says: I am not the owner of that. So they come to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he gets up and permission is given to him. And trust and mercy will be sent, and they will stand on both sides of the path, right and left, and the first of you will pass by like lightning. He said: I said: May my father be sacrificed for you. And my mother, is there anything like lightning? He said: “Have you not seen the lightning, how it passes and returns in the blink of an eye? Then it passes like the wind, then it passes like a bird, and the strength of the men is carrying out their deeds.” And your Prophet is standing on the path, saying: O Lord, grant peace, peace, until the deeds of the servants become impossible Until the man comes, he will not be able to walk except by crawling.” And he said: “And at both edges of the path there are hooks suspended, commanded to take whomever they command.” He will be scratched and saved and thrown into Hell.” “By the One in Whose Hand is Abu Hurairah’s soul, the bottom of Hell will last for seventy days.” Narrated by Muslim
