Hadith #52252
وَعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «من تَقول عَليّ مالم أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ» . وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا فَكَذَبَ عَلَيْهِ فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدَ مَيِّتًا وَقد انشقَّ بَطْنه وَلم تقبله الأَرْض. رَوَاهُمَا الْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي دَلَائِل النُّبُوَّة
On the authority of Osama bin Zaid, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever says about me what I did not say, let him take his seat in Hell.” That is because he sent a man and lied about him, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called against him, and he was found dead, his stomach split open, and the earth would not accept him. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Evidence of Prophethood
