وَعَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى فِي السَّلَبِ لِلْقَاتِلِ. وَلَمْ يُخَمِّسِ السَلَب. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja’i and Khalid bin Al-Walid: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made a ruling regarding plunder for the killer. He did not collect a fifth of the loot. Narrated by Abu Dawood
