Hadith #52031
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ الْخَضِرُ لِأَنَّهُ جَلَسَ عَلَى فَرْوَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَهْتَزُّ من خَلْفِه خضراء» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “Al-Khidr was named because he sat on a white scalp, and it was shaking behind him.” “Green.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
