Hadith #26647
Abdullah bin Al-Sabah Al-Hashimi Al-Basri Al-Attar narrated to us, Ubaidullah bin Abdul Majeed Al-Hanafi narrated to us, Muhammad bin Abi Humaid narrated to us, Musa bin Wardan told us, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “Seek the Hour Which is expected on Friday after the afternoon prayer until the setting of the sun.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith from this perspective. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Anas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, through a different chain of transmission. Muhammad bin Abi Humayd is considered weak by some people. Knowledge by memorizing it, and he is called Hammad bin Abi Humaid, and he is said to be Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari, and he denies hadith. Some people of knowledge, among the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, said that the time in which to pray is after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets. This is what Ahmad and Ishaq said. Ahmad said in most of the hadiths about the hour in which it is hoped that the supplication will be answered, that it is after the prayer Asr and pray after noon.
