حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ مَا صُمْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْنَا ثَلاَثِينَ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ وَسَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَأَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" الشَّهْرُ يَكُونُ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ " .
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Yahya bin Zakaria bin Abi Zaida told us, Issa bin Dinar told me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith bin Abi Dirar, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, said: I have not fasted with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, twenty-nine days more than we fasted thirty. He said: And in Chapter on the authority of Omar, Abu Hurairah, Aisha, Saad bin Abi Waqqas, Ibn Abbas, Ibn Omar, Anas, Jabir, Umm Salamah, and Abu Bakra The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The month will be the twenty-nine.”
