Hadith #27002
Qutaibah narrated to us, Dawud ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Attar narrated to us, on the authority of Amr ibn Dinar, he said, I heard Abu al-Sha’atha’, narrating on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, married Maimuna while he was in ihram. Abu Issa said: This is an authentic hadith. And Abu Al-Sha’atha’ is called Jabir. Ibn Zaid. They disagreed about the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, marrying Maimunah, because the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, married her on the road to Mecca, and some of them said he married her lawfully. Then came the matter of marrying her while he was forbidden, then consummating the marriage with her while it was permissible, with extravagance on the road to Mecca, and Maimunah died in extravagance. Where the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, built it and it was buried lavishly.

That ibn Abbas
