Hadith #27120
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّيْتِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ غَيْرَ الْمُقَتَّتِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى الْمُقَتَّتُ الْمُطَيَّبُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ . وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فِي فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ النَّاسُ .
Hanad narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, on the authority of Hammad bin Salamah, on the authority of Farqad al-Sabkhi, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was He should be anointed with oil while it is forbidden, other than al-Muqtat. Abu Issa said al-Muqtat and perfume. Abu Issa said this hadith. It is strange and we do not know it except from the hadith of Farqad al-Sabkhi on the authority of Sa`id bin Jubayr.
