Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27796

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Muadh bin Hisham narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Salim bin Abi Al-Ja’d, on the authority of Maadan bin Abi Talha, on the authority of Abu Najih Al-Sulami, may God be pleased with him, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Whoever shoots an arrow in the way of God, it will be just for him.” Edited. “Abu Issa said this is an authentic hadith. Abu Najih is Amr bin Abasa Al-Sulami and Abdullah bin Al-Azraq is Abdul Allah bin Zaid.
