Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28329

Nasr bin Ali Al-Jahdhami told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Suqa, on the authority of Nafi’ bin Jubayr, on the authority of Umm Salamah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He mentioned the army that was overwhelming them, and Umm Salamah said, “Perhaps the coercion is among them.” He said, “They are being sent to “Their intentions.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Nafi’ ibn Jubayr, on the authority of Aisha also on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
