Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28347

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, Anas bin Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Usayd bin Hudayr, A man from the Ansar said, “O Messenger of God, you employed so-and-so and you did not employ me.” So the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “You You will see a trail after me, so be patient until you meet me at the basin.” Abu Issa said, and this is a good and authentic hadith.
