Hadith #29296
Ibn Abi Umar told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Najih, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abu Muammar, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God entered May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, Mecca in the year of the conquest, and around the Kaaba were three hundred and sixty monuments, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stabbed them with a spear in the his hand, and perhaps he said with a stick and said: (Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood was vanishing): (Truth has come and what it begins Falsehood and what it repeats.) He said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith, and it contains it on the authority of Ibn Umar.
