حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ زِيَادٍ، رَدَّهُ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ رَدَّهُ إِلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ رَدَّهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْعِبَادَةُ فِي الْهَرْجِ كَالْهِجْرَةِ إِلَىَّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى ‏.‏
Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Mu’alla bin Ziyad, he returned it to Muawiyah bin Qurra, he returned it to Maqil bin Yasar, he returned it to The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Worshiping in times of turmoil is like migration to Me.” Abu Issa said, “This is an authentic and strange hadith. We know it from the hadith of Hammad bin Zaid on the authority of Al-Mu’alla.
