Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28366

Wasil bin Abdul-Ala al-Kufi told us, Muhammad bin Fudayl told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of God said, May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “The earth will vomit up pieces of its core like cylinders of gold and silver.” He said, “Then the thief will come and say, ‘In Like this, my hand was cut off, and the killer comes and says, “In this I killed,” and the one who cut off comes and says, “I cut off my family ties in this.” Then they call him, but no. They take something from it.” Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith. We do not know it except from this direction.
