Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28370

Abbad bin Yaqoub Al-Kufi told us, Abdullah bin Abdul-Quddus told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Hilal bin Yasaf, on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “In this nation there is slander, distortion, and slander.” Then a Muslim man said, “O Messenger of God.” And when did he say, “When the quints and instruments appeared and alcohol was drunk.” Abu Issa said, and this hadith was narrated on the authority of Al-A’mash. On the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Sabit, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and this is a strange hadith.
